Today, a new generation of lay people is working hard to assume the challenge of pastoral ministry and church leadership in order to serve the People of God more effectively. Others labor to make a difference in a wide variety of secular and civic contexts as "ministers in the marketplace." Still others are pursuing ongoing education as religious women and men, deacons and priests. The Loyola Institute for Ministry (LIM) meets the intellectual, spiritual, pastoral, and human formation needs of all these different ministers in the church and world.
