Diocesan Director for Youth Ministry – The Diocese of Raleigh, NC, a growing, vibrant diocese, is seeking highly motivated candidates for the position of Director for Youth Ministry.
Responsibilities include assisting parishes by developing, coordinating and administering an innovative, effective, and comprehensive youth ministry program for both junior and senior-high youth. The Director also provides leadership to and supervision of parish youth ministers and volunteers involved in this ministry. Additional duties include designing Catholic content for youth retreats, workshops, and conferences. The Diocesan Youth Director works in collaboration with the diocesan Department for Catholic Formation and Evangelization and relates to the diocesan offices for Vocations, African Ancestry Ministry, Hispanic Ministry, and Peace and Justice.
Requirements include a master’s degree in pastoral ministry, theology or related field, and a minimum of five years ministry experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic identity. Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) preferred.
