Communications
Communications are posted on the LIM web page www.lim.loyno.edu/extension and in the LIMexpress newsletter. In the event of an emergency evacuation we will also use http://www.loyno.edu/~mcmahon/hurricane.html for emergency communications.
There are three list servs that send broadcast emails out to three LIM constituents.
- Liaisons: limexliaison-list@loyno.edu
- Some email service accounts require that you register the address as acceptable to receive email from this address. AOL, especially, will often bounce emails sent from this address. If you are a member of this list you may send email to this address limexliaison-list@loyno.edu and it will go out to all the liaisons. If you received an email from the list and you want everyone on the list to receive a reply, you may reply to all and your reply will go out to all the liaisons. If you just do reply, it will go just to Cecelia Bennett
- Facilitators: facilitators@loyno.edu
- The same operation procedures apply to the facilitator listserv, but if you just do reply, it will go just to Cathy Zeph.
- Student broadcast email: limxstu@loyno.edu
- In order for extension students to receive email from this broadcast email they need to use their Loyola email address. Students may look up their Loyola email address on LORA and check their Loyola email on the Loyola home page. http://www.loyno.edu/ (web mail). Your password has been preset to the first two letters of your first name and last 4 digits of your SSN. The directions for LORA are found in the Policy Manual on the LIM documents web page and at https://lorasec.loyno.edu/. Students are not able to send or reply to this broadcast email address
