Evelyn R. Thibeaux, Ph.D., is lecturer for the Institute Scripture courses.  She holds a M.A. in Religion and the Arts from Boston University, an STL from the Jesuil School of Theology in Berkeley, CA, and a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley.  She has taught in undergraduate religion programs, in graduate ministry programs, and in non-degree ministry preparation programs.  Dr. Thibeaux was also an adjunct faculty member for the LIM Extension program for several years.  Her pastoral experience includes working as a Pastoral Associate at St. Therese Church in Jackson, MS, and in the Office of Religious Education in the Archdiocese of New Orleans, where her work focused on the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) and evangelization.
