Advanced Continuing Education Certificate in Pastoral Studies - 12 Credits
Those who have already earned a Masters degree from LIM, one of the continuing education certificates that the institute offers (see above: Certificate in Religious Education or Certificate in Pastoral Studies) – or an appropriate graduate degree from another accredited college or university — may choose to seek an additional professional, continuing education-credit credential from the institute, the Advanced Continuing Education Certificate in Pastoral Studies. This program consists of 12 hours of specialized, continuing education (c.e.u. credits) study through the completion of two Focus Areas. Courses may be taken on-campus, online, or at LIM extension sites. LIM certificate graduates may reapply on-line using a one-page form. Other students need to apply for full admissions. Transfer credits from other educational institutions are not accepted. Brochure on Advanced Continuing Education Certificate in Pastoral Studies requires the Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Qualified applicants are eligible to earn the post master’s or advanced certificate upon completion of two LIM Focus Areas (twelve-credit hours). An application for the certificate is to be completed and emailed to the LIM office lim@loyno.edu upon successful completion of nine-hours of course work toward the certificate (the first focus course of the second focus area).
